Thanksgiving Celebration – 2017

While people in the US celebrate Thanksgiving Celebration at the end of November every year, we Conceptians usually celebrate it somewhere in December! And, last Saturday, we just did that.

Modern-day Thanksgiving is about showing gratitude toward colleagues, clients, friends, and practically everyone who has been in our live. It is a great occasion to get connected with each other and have some quality time.

In the light of Thanksgiving, we had a nice outing last Saturday. It wasn’t just a simple trip to a nice venue, but it included Zumba, breakfast, sports and games, and a delicious luncheon – all organized and sponsored by the Seniors Conceptians!

By the way, Zumba is a unique fitness program, which involves aerobic and dance. We did this last year, where every enjoyed it, so we did it again on this Saturday! It is, of course, exhausting, but a nice workout to get the day started in the coolness of early morning.

Since it was a wonderful day, our boss decided to carry out another installment of “Smart Work Pays Off” (SWPO) award ceremony. SWPO program is all about recognizing and awarding those Conceptians who have used their intellect to do their work efficiently and smartly. Depending on the kind of intellect shown, candidates were awarded certificates and badges.
